In order to avoid legal problems and fines related to the residence permit, you must take the necessary procedures on time. In order to continue your education life after entering our country, you need to obtain a Student Residence Certificate from Samsun Provincial Directorate of Migration Management with the student certificate you will receive after your final registration. During your education life, you are required to register for courses every semester/year and be an active student. If you do not register for classes, your information is reported to the Immigration Administration and your residence is cancelled. For this reason, you should pay attention to this issue in order not to encounter any problems and for the continuation of your permit.
After completing the final registration process, international students must apply for residence and submit a copy of the residence permit to the International Student Office of the Student Affairs Department. This number must be included in Ondokuz Mayıs University's Student Automation System and your information is transferred to the Higher Education Information System (YÖKSİS). Students who have their information in YÖKSİS can easily perform all their institutional transactions in Turkey and can obtain their Student Certificate via e-government at any time.
