7- Where will I learn my placement result?
You can access your placement result from https://yostercih.omu.edu.tr/ by logging in with your username and password.
8- What should I do if I win a department as a result of my preferences?
Candidates who are eligible for registration and want to register by applying in person must upload their documents from https://onlineintstudy.omu.edu.tr/belge and make an appointment by logging in with username and password at https://yostercih.omu.edu.tr/. You can get your Letter of Acceptance from the same page and register until the registration deadline written on it.
If you want to make Online Temporary Registration, you do not need to make an appointment, you can apply through our University's Online Temporary Registration system https://onlineintstudy.omu.edu.tr/tr. The deadline for your application is the date specified on your Letter of Acceptance.
9- As a result of my preferences, I won a department that requires a special talent exam. What should I do?
Candidates who are entitled to enroll in programmes that admit students through special talent exams will not be able to benefit from online registration as they are required to attend the talent exams in person and be successful. These candidates must register by applying in person.
The date of your appointment will be your special talent exam date. Special aptitude exams will be held in the locations of the units you have won. You must be ready and take the exam on the specified date and time. If you do not take the exam or fail the exam, you will lose your right to final registration.
10- If I cannot register within the registration dates, can I register later?
Candidates who do not make their final registration by the deadline specified in the Letter of Acceptance are deemed to have waived their final registration rights.
11-What is a letter of acceptance? What does it do?
The acceptance letter is the official document certifying that your application to Ondokuz Mayıs University to study with your own means has been accepted. For candidates who are placed in one of their preferences as a result of the placement application, the acceptance letter is created through the system. In order to use your right to enroll at the university, you must apply to the Turkish Consulate in your country until the deadline specified in the acceptance letter you have received and obtain a "Study Visa".
12- Where can I get my acceptance letter?
You can obtain your acceptance letter by logging in with your username and password from the https://yostercih.omu.edu.tr/ address you used for preference procedures. (No separate document will be sent by our university.) Confirmation of your acceptance letter can be made via the QR code or verification code and address on the document.
13-Do I need to make an appointment for final registration?
Candidates who want to register by applying in person must create an appointment by logging in to https://yostercih.omu.edu.tr/ with your username and password. On the date and time of the appointment you have made, you must be ready to register at the registration centre determined and announced by the University.
14-Where can I upload my documents required for final registration?
You can upload from https://onlineintstudy.omu.edu.tr/belge.
15-Do I need to bring the originals of my documents to the registration?
All students must submit the original documents and notarised translations of the translated documents.
16-I could not get my high school diploma because I have not graduated from high school yet. What should the candidates in this situation do?
Applicants who have not yet graduated from high school are required to submit an official letter (graduation certificate) from their high school stating that they will graduate at the end of this semester.
17-I graduated from high school but I have not received my high school diploma yet. Can I register with a temporary graduation certificate?
Your final registration can be made with a provisional graduation certificate.
