4- Where can I see quotas and special conditions?
After logging into the UZEM (OMU Distance Education Center) Application and Preference System with your username and password, you will see quotas and special conditions on the preference page.

7- I have been placed in a program. What should I do?
Candidates who have gained admission and want to register in person must log in to the UZEM Application and Preference System and make an appointment. You can download your Acceptance Letter from the same page and complete your registration by the deadline stated on the letter. If you want to complete your Pre-Registration, no appointment is needed. You can apply via the OMU Pre-Registration System by the deadline stated in your Acceptance Letter.
8- I have been placed in a department that requires a talent exam. What should I do?
Candidates placed in programs that admit students through a special talent exam must participate in and pass the exam in person; online registration is not available for these programs. The appointment you book will be your special exam date. These exams will be held at the locations of the departments you are placed in. You must be present at the time and location indicated. Failure to attend or pass the exam will result in losing your final registration right.
9- What happens if I miss the final registration dates?
Candidates who do not complete their registration by the final date stated in the Acceptance Letter will be considered to have waived their right to register.
10- What is an Acceptance Letter, and what is it used for?
An Acceptance Letter is an official document confirming that your self-funded study application to Ondokuz Mayıs University has been accepted. Candidates who are placed in a program based on their preferences will have their letter generated automatically by the system. You must apply for a student visa at the Turkish Embassy/Consulate in your home country before the deadline specified in the Acceptance Letter in order to be eligible for final registration.
11-Where can I obtain my Acceptance Letter?
Log in with your username and password to the UZEM Application and [Preference System]((https://yos.omu.edu.tr/tercih) to download your Acceptance Letter. (The university will not send documents separately.) The authenticity of the letter can be verified through the QR code or verification code and link on the document.
12- Do I need to book an appointment for final registration?
Yes. Candidates who want to register in person must log in to the UZEM Application and [Preference System]((https://yos.omu.edu.tr/tercih) to make an appointment. You must be present at the designated registration center on the date and time of your appointment, which will be announced by the university.
13-Do I need to bring original documents with me to registration?
Yes. All students must submit the original versions of their documents, as well as notarized translations of any translated documents.
14-I have not yet graduated from high school, so I don’t have my diploma. What should I do?
Candidates who have not yet graduated must provide an official letter from their high school stating that they are expected to graduate at the end of the current term. (Graduation Eligibility Letter)
15-I graduated from high school, but my diploma is not yet ready. Can I register with a Temporary Graduation Certificate?
Yes. You can complete your final registration with a Temporary Graduation Certificate.
16-I could not get my high school diploma because I have not graduated from high school yet. What should the candidates in this situation do?
Applicants who have not yet graduated from high school are required to submit an official letter (graduation certificate) from their high school stating that they will graduate at the end of this semester.
