- Contributing to the preliminary preparation phase of legal regulation studies carried out by our university,
- Monitoring the publication of announcements related to final registration on the website,
- Conducting the final registration process,
- Monitoring admission quotas,
- Managing and executing the online (temporary) registration system,
- Preparing promotional catalogs, brochures, and documents, and monitoring their publication on the website and social media accounts,
- Tracking international student documents,
- Keeping and physically archiving student personal files,
- Managing the e-archive system,
- Providing necessary guidance and information,
- Responding to document and information requests,
- Updating student information in the automation system throughout their education,
- Responding to inquiries and requests through communication channels,
- Managing the deregistration process of students who fail to submit missing information and documents within the given timeframe,
- Delivering documents in the personal files of graduates and students whose registration has been terminated,
- Registering students placed in programs that admit international students through special talent exams after the completion of the exam process,
- Carrying out the registration procedures of students admitted through scholarships from national and international institutions,
- Providing information to official institutions and responding to their requests,
- Cooperating with other units of our university in studies related to international students.
Services provided by the Residence Permit Office for international students:
- Following the procedures defined in the “Cooperation Protocol on Residence Permit Applications for International Students” signed between the Council of Higher Education and the Directorate General of Migration Management under the Ministry of Interior, and the “Implementation Guide on International Student Registration and Residence Permit Procedures,”
- Following legal regulation updates and the principles set by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK),
- Monitoring legal regulations issued by our university and contributing to the preliminary preparation phase of related studies,
- Ensuring communication and coordination between the university and the Samsun Immigration Directorate, and conducting official correspondence,
- Managing and finalizing the residence permit application process for international students,
- Keeping information on residence permit procedures for international students up to date on university and department web pages, and ensuring relevant announcements are published,
- Providing necessary guidance and information,
- Responding to document and information requests,
- Updating student information in the automation system throughout their education,
- Responding to inquiries and requests through communication channels,
- Providing information to official institutions and responding to their requests,
- Cooperating with other units of our university in studies related to international students.
