• Candidates learn their placement results by logging into the UZEM Application and Preference System (yöstercih.omu.edu.tr) with their registered username and password. No separate notification will be made to the candidates.
• The acceptance letter is an official document confirming that the applicant’s application to Ondokuz Mayıs University to study at their own expense has been accepted. For applicants who have been placed on a programme in line with their preferences, the acceptance letter is generated via the international student preference system (yöstercih.omu.edu.tr). Applicants can obtain their acceptance letters by logging into the international student preference system using their username and password.
• Receipt of an Offer Letter does not entitle candidates to provisional or final enrolment. Candidates who fail to apply for provisional or final enrolment within the timeframe specified in the Offer Letter, or who fail to submit the required documents, will not be enrolled. Such candidates will be deemed to have waived their right to enrolment.
• Candidates accepted to the University must obtain a “letter of acceptance” from the application system and then obtain a “student visa” from consulates/embassies. The acceptance letter includes a QR code and verification code for document confirmation. Therefore, acceptance letters are not sent separately to candidates, embassies, consulates, or intermediary organizations.
