• Students who are not required to submit a Turkish proficiency certificate are granted pre-registration rights upon payment of the international tuition fee. Students required to submit a Turkish proficiency certificate must pay both the international tuition fee and the OMÜTÜRKÇE fee to obtain pre-registration rights. • Students placed in programs that require a special talent exam are not granted pre-registration rights.
• Pre-registered students who wish to start their education at the beginning of the registered semester must personally apply to the Student Affairs Department before the course registration dates determined by the University’s general academic calendar, submit the final registration documents specified by the Senate, and convert their pre-registration into a definitive registration.
• All students who have pre-registered must personally apply to the Student Affairs Department, submit the documents specified by the Senate, and convert their pre-registration into final registration by the final registration deadline determined by YÖK for the year they are registered.
• At the stage of converting pre-registration into final registration, students must prove their legal residence status in Turkey within the allowed period by presenting documents such as passports, residence permits, etc. Students who fail to present the required documents, do not have legal residence rights in Turkey, or have violated the legal residence period will not have their final registration completed, even if pre-registration has been done
• Tuition fees paid by students who have completed pre-registration or final registration will not be refunded.
• International students may change their registered university only once within the same academic year. Applicants must consider this before applying. Candidates found to have changed their registered university more than once within the same academic year will have their enrollment terminated, even if registration procedures have been completed. Tuition fees paid will not be refunded.
• Ondokuz Mayıs University reserves the right to make changes to announced dates, applications, preferences, evaluations, placements, registration procedures and dates, required documents for registration, tuition fees, and all announced conditions during the international student admission process. Decisions regarding changes and related information will be announced on the University’s official website. Announcements made on the website are considered official notifications to candidates; no separate notification will be sent. It is the responsibility of candidates to follow these announcements.
